On the other hand, if he's selling these, maybe we're the ones who all look silly.

That price is steep in comparison to the competition. I wonder how many of these Ben needs to sell to make it a successful endeavor.

Am I the only one not bothered by pricing? Like, high end frame sets have long, LONG surpassed the $4k+ threshold. If it's not for you, it's not for you, but price shouldn't be the thing making you say no.

Are they lugged?

Are they really using Colorado Concept tube shapes?

A steel fork?

Is Ben himself building these?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The originals were not lugged and the one I owned had a carbon fork made by Reynolds. I'm pretty sure Ben is not the one doing the building. I'd say more likely than not that the tubing is analogous to Colorado Concept.

This would also maybe make the price at least a little closer to reasonable, but it's still nutty

I've toured Karl's shop at Vicious and I think he mentioned that he got some of the swaging machinery from serotta when they closed up. Maybe the tubes are being worked there? He might even be welding these.

Either Carl or possibly Frank the Welder as I know Frank welded the Amodomio and I think Carl painted them.
