That rant lasted for a couple of minutes till I couldn’t stand listening to him. Everybody needs to have their own YouTube channel, I’ve heard....

Like it or not he does make a good point on what industry is doing. My “gravel-bike” is my cx bike lol.
Sometimes I hit the trail on a road ride and you guess it on my road bike. The bottom line is, we all make of what we got. |

The point is, some people have a good use case for gravel bikes, some don't. But having the right tool for the job does make it more fun :-) |

It could be done just slower. In most circumstances its more of a mindset than a real crutch. I'm certainly content with my cx bike on gravel road.
Isn't the whole point of taking the gravel ride is to enjoy the scenery and not race through it? On the flipside I used to ride my mtn bike on road ride with drop bars and swap out slick tires for the occasion. Last edited by boywander; 11-25-2020 at 07:31 AM. |

I can also ride single track on my gravel bike, but that doesn't mean it is fun... And guess what, you can still go slow on a gravel bike :-) But sometimes you want to go fast too.

Don’t do it if it isn’t fun . Now you’re getting the point of the video.
