I rode my bike to vote today

My voting place is about a mile away. I rode my "Messenger" bike that is similar to the bikes we make as a charity project in Ukraine. The difference is I used lighter tubing. This one was an example of how to make a frame when I am teaching my framebuilding classes.

I had to hustle to beat the rain supposedly coming at 10 am. The line was very short and I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Riding bikes and voting is a great combo. Right there with peanut butter and jelly. (Or chocolate)

Excellent.

I voted weeks ago via mail. I did walk to the local PO to mail it in.

I didn't ride my bike to do it (should have rode the Riv), but I voted in person for the first time in many years on Sunday.. being military, I always voted by absentee ballot.. it was kind of cool to do it in person again!

Nice. We had voted early by mail. But ironically my wife and I went for a walk before work and we walked by the polling place so we could chuckle at our fortune to not be stuck in the raging car-scrum. Probably similar distance, about a mile.

Put me in the camp that voted early, but did ride my bike to the ballot drop box at the local library.

Voted early, too, but I couldn't find a way to tell the parties that so they'd stop bombing me with ads

Same here, but the library wasn’t local, because the library up the street doesn’t have a ballot box. Got a good hour of riding and civic duty.

I walked to the mailbox a few weeks ago. I haven't voted in person since 2016.

That's a very cool bike and I love what you are doing for Ukrainians. My wife and I always ride out to vote, voted here in Virginia about 3 weeks ago.

I voted early. I ran to town hall (1 mile), cast my vote, then continued running on our local MUT. Best run of the year IMHO. I just hope I get what I voted for.

Ya bunch of Commies!!!

We did early voting as well. It was my daughter's first time to vote. The workers at the polling station rang a bell and did a cheer for her. Kinda cool. We were in and out of the polling station in 15 minutes.

Vote Pedro!
