I have a whole separate laundry basket specifically for cycling clothes - jerseys go into their own delicates bag to stop the zippers from getting caught on anything else, and the bibs go in after. Cold cycle and non-enzymes/fabric softener detergent, fairly quick spin cycle and then it all goes on hangers to air dry.

Used to be a lot harsher on them as I just chucked them in with the rest of the laundry and then tumbled dry on high, and they were surprisingly resilient.

Delicate cycle front loader wash and delicate cycle dryer. Separate darks and lights and wash with other delicate darks and lights. No loss of color. Have jerseys over 20 years old and bibs 15 years old.

Try to wash cycling clothing without other garments, but otherwise just a cold/delicate cycle and hang to dry. Not had any issues yet.
