Nahbs 2019.....sacramento!
Don Walker announced it early this year. March 15-17, NAHBS will be in Sacramento.

Won't that now be 3 times in recent years? What's the appeal of that locale?

He mentioned part of the issue being getting hotel and convo space to be available. But he usually goes one east, one west, one east, one west. |

Personally, I'd love to see this in the upper Midwest but about 6 weeks later into the spring, for good riding opportunities. Minneapolis/St. Paul is a great cycling community, as is Madison, Wisconsin. |

Each of the last two Sacto NAHBS I ended up putting down payments on new framesets, uh oh....
Then again I wonder if Dave Kirk will be there? |

I was there a couple of years ago. the venue was easy to drive there from the Bay Area, but driving back there was lots of traffic on a Saturday. Also there's not much open for lunch on a Saturday right by the venue. it feels like a sleepy little town on there.

Oh come on how about Portland or Seattle. I have been waiting years for it to come back to the Pacific Northwest. In fact I was telling my wife this morning that it was about time to have NAHBS back here and maybe this would be the year. Sadly no, bummer.

I think you must have mixed up the order. Ride Amtrak there, then ride New Kirk home.
