Bike Show in Baltimore MD 11/19/2023
New event update:
Instead of creating a new thread I figured it made more sense to add updates to the existing, I’m happy to create something new if that’s better. We’re going back to Union Brewing on November 19, 2023 from noon-6pm. This event will be another food drive but might end up being the small gathering I was expecting at the last event. Thus far Bishop Bicycles, Mars Bikes and Vicious Cycles are all confirmed. As more builders confirm I’ll update. A handful of frame builders who can’t attend are participating in a sling shot expo, which will be the first of its kind as far as I can tell. I’m expecting to have more bikes on display from collectors than the prior event as well. It’s another free event to attend, but if possible bring some non-perishable food. Original post: I hope it okay to post this here but I’m organizing a bike show in Baltimore, MD on March 26, 2023. The concept is to round up a bunch of talented frame builders, add in some collectors and enthusiasts and hang out for a few hours. I’m usually super focused on track/fixed gear but this event should have something for everyone. So far Bishop, Bilenky, Mars, La Marche, Coast, Royal H and Sweet Tooth Fab are all attending. It’s a free event, open to all taking place at Union Brewing. As part of the event I’m running it as a food drive asking spectators and participants to bring a non perishable food item. I’m not sure how to get a link to the post but there’s details on the Instagram pages of Bishop and my page @atwbuilds *SWOOD Cycles, Maiorosse' Cycles and Unison Bike Lab are also attending. I'd like to attend, but if I go, I'll probably order a Bishop I don't need.

Hahah, same thing. I've been considering an item4 for a while now, but I really don't need another bike RN. Maybe I can offload two before then though!

I've added a few more builders to the event up above.
A few vendors are going to attend as well: Velo Orange, Hold Fast, Rambler Bags, Jacks Packs & PTap Designs |

Not sure how many other Paceliners went to this today. I went and it was bigger showing than I thought it would be. Very decent turnout I think. I'm guessing this will be a repeat event. Cool to see the builders and vendors and get up close to some Bishops.

Awesome to hear that someone from Paceline made it out! The event ending up being much bigger than I had originally planned for hence the crowding in certain areas.
Union has invited us back but with PBE moving to Spring in 2024, I’ll need to find another time. |
