RIP Marvelous Marvin Hagler

So sad to hear - was a legend in the boxing game - one of my all time favorites.

Middleweight, welterweight etc was a high watermark back then. Hearns, Duran, Arguello, Sugar Ray, Pryor. Some great fights. Great nickname to boot

He actually changed his name to Marvelous. And that was his license plate as well.
Such a great fighter - best ko artist in the his division. Was robbed in that fight with Leonard (who avoided MMH when he was in his prime).
MMH, who is from Brockton, MA used to do road work in combat boots - one tough dude.

RIP Champ. I watched on of his fights against Hearns about a month ago. The Champ was vicious.
