did you read the finer print?

the first 25 postings need to contain a pearl of wisdom...or a contrarian opinion on the topic at hand.

Yes for sure I would like to advertise my frameset to the group of ppl that will be most interested. And fwiw I have had a paceline membership for a few years.

Selling for a couple reasons - I’ve been riding dirt roads these past few years and liking the Fargo for that. Second, the motorcycle bug has bitten again and I’d like to get another.

"An argument is more than a series of mere contradictions", by a contrarian.

But if that gets you there...

Price getting more in line for brow raising though.

Is this 28mm max tire century machine, or a 30mm maybe??

I really wish I were in the market for a steel frame because this would fit me exactly. GLWS, I'll bet someone will be very happy with this one.

Thank you! The funny thing is I sold a nice bmw to buy the Kirk, and now I’m selling the Kirk to help fund another bmw motorcycle.

I had 25’s mounted to hed belgium plus rims that measured out to 27.5mm. That is the biggest I would go.

but seriously, Bobde1234 has been on the forum since 2013.. regardless of number of posts, I think we can safely assume this member probably isn't a scammer..

I’d need a ladder to get on this bike so no interest from me but if it fit scammer isn’t even remotely a concern for me here. If I had concerns I’d verify seller with DK and the offer to do transaction through a verified payment service would more than address any concerns I’d have. Relative to eBay or even Pinkbike, this is worlds apart. This said, I get everyone has a different threshold and respect that my comfort level isn’t shared by all.

I appreciate the comments. The best case scenario for me would be a face to face cash deal. I’m located in southeast michigan (Ann arbor). Besides that, I can only offer to do a transaction thru a service that protects both buyer and seller (pp g&s is the only one I know). DK built the bike for me, so thst would be an eay phone call to make. And my local bike shop is sic transit cycles and I think they would provide a reference. It’s kinda weird this thread has taken a turn like this but that’s how the internet goes I guess.

To end this on a positive note, about 20 bikes rolled past my house as I finished up dog walking. Hope you all have a good weather Sunday to do your fun stuff.

Well, despite the low post count, this will get you a temporary pass in my book. Go Blue.

I suggest sweetening the deal with a Pastrami Rueben kit From Zingermans ;-)

This is a beautiful frameset and I think your pricing is fair and in the sweet spot at the moment. Minty steel Kirk frame+fork that has the signature Terraplane rear end and is Di2 ready? C'mon!

agree, if this were smaller.. this is such a great way to get into one of my grail bikes.. this would be a no-brainer if it fit..

Love the colors BTW!
