You can do or think whatever you want, but the organizers are bound by the State.

I know that through the CRCA and Lucarelli and Castaldi race updates, the permits are pandemic and health specific. The state and city health departments have the final word.

You know this how? I have not had an injection since I've had the legal right to say no at 18.
If folks choose to mask up or get the shot that is their business, if they don't it's also their decision.
I've expressed my thoughts to Sandy and Mary about their requirements. I've ridden the event every year since it started in 2005 except one.

Or they may have just made a decision on their own.

The CDC and Fauci himself have just came out and said fully vax'd people do not need to mask or take any real precautions outdoors.

if i'm an organizer of an outdoor ride, it sure would be easier to just follow the CDC guidance and have a good time outside with other fully vax'd people and not worry about how to deal with people who refuse to get the shot.

pretty simple really. if i were in that position i would make the same call.

Sorry. That was indeed presumptious of me. The fact likely remains that you have benefitted from the MMR vaccine, with measles having a R0 of 12-18 and high kill rate.

Nevertheless, anytime that a thread is started that runs contrary to your views, your MO is to come in and be oppositional, with the implicit claim that you have some right to do so. You're oppositional and whiny, arguably with the intention to have threads closed.

Do you hear that sound?

It's the thunderous cacophony created by the rest of us not missing you.

Success!

Had to look up this event to see what all the excitement was about.

We need more organizations like the The Franklin Land Trust. So sad to continue seeing farmland gobbled up and destroyed. See it all the time now where I'm at. Multimillion dollar homes that sit empty 10 months out of the year as productive farm lands are destroyed, sad.

Seems well organized with a lot of race info on their web site.

Thank you James.

The FLT is an awesome organization, and I was happy to donate to them last year. It's also one of my favorite rides of the year, best organized and coolest vibe.

I suggest if you can plan for it someday, you should fly out, I think you would really enjoy the ride.
