Plenty of attachment points for fenders and racks. It even has internal wiring(originally designed around a Sanyo dynamo that mounts under/behind the bottom bracket.
One of my favorites... wish I still had mine.

I bought a Schwinn Voyageur SP for $30 bucks years ago, built it up from the parts bin. It’s a great gravel bike, that can still go fast.

^^^ Nice Panasonic. Do they still make similar frames? I thought I saw touring frames on Yellow Jersey or another site in the last few years.

Like others have said, there are lots of options depending on what you mean by a 'gravel bike'. Even many older road bikes fit wide tires....this 1966 Frejus is running 35mm tires.

I had and sold a top of the line Panasonic touring bike, a PT-5000. It was a very nice bike. No canti's but large clearance.

Yes, Alex Cycle still sells Panasonic framesets in both steel and titanium! Here's a similar touring type frameset with bosses for canti or v-brakes:

The only downside is it appears the frameset doesn't appear to be available in anything larger than a 55cm?!

They also sell a lugged cyclocross frameset that would work too and it comes in larger sizes too!

Good Luck!

Yes, I've noticed that too. Pretty much every time I come across an interesting frame from a Japanese source, I check the numbers and they don't go up high enough. I only go up to 58-60cm for a frame, not that tall.

Perhaps it's for the best.
