Should definitely start a thread in the Custom Bikes section of the forum to tell more of the story behind it!

Not much story to it. I love old racing bikes with chevron paint schemes. I sent Joe Bell a description of the colors I was looking for and a photo of a Eddy Merckx with a great design. I asked for a particular blue. red and yellow. I remember there was a restored Willys Americar around town that had this wonderful blue. I got the paint formula from the owner and sent it to Joe. Joe decided to include the white and I disliked the design when Dave sent me the first photo. But when it arrived...Holy Moses, it was beautiful.

I built it up with Campy Chorus 11spd (this was 2013), H+Son TB14s on White Industries T11s, and various bits off my previous bike. It does everything I want my bike to do: climbs efficiently, corners as well as I can handle and doesn't twitch like my previous bikes. Unfortunately, I got lost a few times and ended up on some gravel. I did a lot of gravel, actually. The bike ate it up but suffered some paint chips. I'm looking to send it back to Joe soon for a repaint. Maybe I'll change it up.

I don't have any photos of it but I'll take one next time I'm out in the sun.
