The photos make it look like it was a powder coat paint...

Yup- textured powder "fading" into a lime candy coat over a chrome base. I am working with my friend Bob over at Custom Powderworks- this was a trial run working towards some other projects I have on the burner.

First off so sweet! Second, these other projects you speak of have been "bikerumored" to be a stock size frame, meaning non-custom. Is there truth to this?

Sort of- stock frame (model), custom sizing. Still working on the final details. If you are interested, hit me up. I'd be happy to get some folks on an info list to have first crack as the details come together. I'm about 90% there and should have an example ready before NAHBS.
