Best road brake pads for mixed use?

Looking to replace my brake pads and wondering what you folks like. It’ll be for my mid-reach Seven road bike. Aluminum rims, 70/30 road/dirt, on the front range so 90% of the time dry conditions. What has worked well for you? Thanks!

The dual compound pads are terrific. We use them on our tandem. If they reliably stop 380 lbs on steep descents, they’ll be great for your intended use.

I've found the SwissStop to be better than the Koolstops.
I've used both green and blue. The blue are the new replacements for the green.

Can't find them in town so I got them from Merlin.

Thanks all for the replies. My local shop has the kool stop so I’ll give those a try. Next time I put in a merlin order I’ll try the swiss stop to compare. Thanks for the advice

I'm beating a dead horse here, but another vote for Koolstop salmon pads (the dual-compound pads are not bad either).

Even got a comment from the LBS owner last time I've bought them. "Ah, now there's a man who clearly knows what he's doing"
