What other wheels do you have?
Check your wheel bearings. In my experience, Mavic hubs are not consistent. Some bearing stay adjusted properly, others seem to move out of adjustment quickly. If you have not done so already, try realigning your calipers. |

Seems rotors would rub due to effort, mine rub occasionally after hard braking clears up after next braking cycle. I like all the "not acceptable for me!" comments... have you tried disc brakes on a road bike?!.. LOL.

Yep. They're ok, but not game changers like they often get touted. Better in some ways, worse in others, but it's not like everyone who doesn't like discs has never tried them.
