Loos like another great event this year, unfortunately I already signed up for the Farmers Daughter ride. Too bad the great north ride couldn't be a couple of weeks later....

I'm not sure how Andy . . .
. . . is going to be able to start 700 riders at once at FDGG and still be within the present NY state Covid gathering rules. If he sends riders out at 5 second intervals, it still take an hour just to get everyone started.
He will have to make a decision on that 1-2 weeks in advance. If FDGG doesn't happen, you should know in time enough to switch. BBD

Maybe but seems like rides are getting sold out really really quickly. Personally I don’t think any may ny ride is going to happen but we will have to wait and see.

the route looks pretty good too. i'm tentatively adding this to my calendar in pencil for sure. i havent been on my bike in literally weeks, but next week is looking warmer around here, and there should be enough time to pick up some fitness.

I likely will be too. With FDGG the next day, I don’t anticipate making it too vigorous of a ride. I’d prefer to start very late or very early to avoid crowds. I’m thinking the same for FDGG. If we have the routes in advance, I’d even be up for starting in the wee hours of morning as soon as the sun is up.
