kinda interesting compare price of Can-Am Ryker to Specialized Turbo Creo

Ryker: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en...own/ryker.html

Creo: https://www.specialized.com/US/en/sh...o/c/eturbocreo

Is there something wrong with this picture...whether you'd want a 3-wheeler or not? Is Specialized making a killing? Apples and oranges but something seems out of whack.

You can buy a used scooter for like 600$.

That's not a meaningful comparison though. Nobody is torn between a scooter an an S-works e-road bike.

yes, but given a choice

which would you prefer for your $10K or so? I love my Creo but that Ryker looks like equal or way more fun way more poundage...and bang for buck.

This Chinese junk coming over unsupported will end up in trash bins next year.

Think of the Creo as and iPhone, works way you want it for premium.

Personally, I am ordering a custom Alchemy for about same price. Creo I tried didn't fit me, and I am very picky

HA..lots of seemingly more 'valuable' things the same $ as a 5 figure bicycle. Are bikes overpriced or motorcycles, as another example, underpriced? I think number one. Not sure why any bicycle is $11,000+

$11, 895..

if i were going to spend 10k on a toy, an electric road bike would literally not even be a consideration. i have zero interest in electric assist sport bicycles.

$10k gets you a LOT of great motorcycles.

i was simply surfing the net and came upon a Ryker review

and never knew the approximate cost. I was surprised at their relative low price compared to the Creo. It blew my mind that my really fun Creo was in the same dollar ball park as a fun and "real" machine like the Ryker. I am sure there is lots of fun stuff in the price range, motorcycles included.

So, what you're saying is that e-bikes are for people who want to ride motorcycles on bike paths?
