And now Ric Ocasek

Front man from the Cars has passed away. 75 years old. Man, so many music greats are passing away it seems. RIP

Man, I remember listening to that first Cars album front to back over and over again, every song was great. Got into a fight because of the second album.

RIP

Yeah all the artists I grew up with. I saw the cars in concert in high school. Great memories.

One of the first concerts I ever saw.

So many good songs.

Pretty sure this made it on the "classic album covers" thread. It should've, anyway. At the forefront of a new era of music. "Let's Go" is a stationary bike staple. Farewell...

This and the other thread got me thinking about just how long many of "our" favorite musicians have actually been performing for. At least for me a good number of them are locked in time due to me not seeing many of them live so I tend to watch them on things like YouTube and such. It's only when they pass and I see the ages that I think "WOW I THOUGHT HE WAS ONLY XXX age".

A couple of weeks ago I sent my brother the link to the Classic Album Covers thread. He though it was cool and then sent this article in response:

The coming death of just about every rock legend

Quite the list.
