It's CROSS season...
Anyone watching the Euro stuff yet?
GCN has been broadcasting some great early season race action. I've already seen a few nice race courses and some close race action. The USCX coverage (on GCN), by comparison, sucks. It's almost as if we have no idea where to set up cameras, or how to run them. Oh well. I'm guessing the Euro races have the infrastructure and camera operators in spades over us. The big hitters (MVDP, WVA, Pidcock, etc) aren't toeing the line yet as they are still horsing around with the road season. And the Womens' races are just fantastic. Fem Van Empel is on a tear and giving the big(ger) names a run for their money. My 2 yo think Lucida Brand is the best! Also, haven't heard anything on Toon Aerts and his doping situation...which stinks because I really liked watching a "normal" sized dude race the little dudes.

I have been watching all the CX content on GCN. Both the USCX and Euro.
I agree the USCX coverage is subpar - but still watchable. And I find it relatable since I know the racers a bit more. The Euro women's racing has been great. But I find it hard to get into the men's racing when there is no Wout, MVdP or Pidcock. Kinda feels like watching the B team. I know that isn't fair and still watch, but something in my brain just isn't as engaged.

Trek cup coming this weekend on Sun
Will be fun to watch the first World Cup at Trek. I have watched the US races on GCN and US riders seem to be making some progress. We'll see know that the warmups are finished.
