Newbie tubular question

I'm on my first set of tubulars and just changed the tires. Love the ride! Anyway, one thing that I've noticed is that the tires (Veloflex) lose pressure a lot quicker than a Veloflex clinchers. I typically run my Veloflex Carbons at 120 psi. I'll lose 40 psi in less than a week. Is that normal?

Yes. You should plan on pumping them up every time you ride.

Tubulars use latex tubes....you probably use butyl tubes with your clinchers. Latex loses air pressure more quickly.

Got it

I do pump my tires before every ride. This questions was more out of curiosity than anything.

Thanks.
