one criticism i might have is the adjustability of saddle fore/aft position, looks like up/down only.

"Both the saddle and handlebar positions are easily adjustable. You can set the saddle height with our secure and easy tool-free ratcheting system. The fore and aft saddle position and angle can be adjusted for custom fitting. The handlebars move up and down, and forward and back, and with three different handlebar riding options, you can easily find the setting that’s best for you."

I too wish my gym had one of these.

There's a subforum at Concept2 devoted to the BikeErg: https://www.c2forum.com/viewforum.php?f=46.

As a Concept2 rower owner since 1996, this is cool. $990? That’s amazing, I think my rower cost $700 23 years ago and is still working great. I need to check one out.

Called yesterday, 170 now. No other options. Maybe this is more for the CrossFit crowd.

right now GF is doing poor man's peloton- bike on trainer and peloton spin classes via app on ipad mounted on a microphone stand. She loves it. I could see doing the same with one of these. It looks like there is a provision for mounting an ipad similarly- the video shows a phone mounted above the dedicated display console.
