Changing BOA dials

I have a pair of Lake CX 237 with the one direction dial to tighten, then pull up to release the whole thing. Does anyone know, or have experience with, replacing with a dial that can be adjusted both ways, like what comes on Specialized shoes. Thanks?

It’s super easy. There’s intructions on the boa website that show you the steps.

I took my specialized shoes apart and got confused and quickly put them back together.

I too did my Specialized shoes. Very easy but read the instructions carefully first.

I breezed over them "yeah yeah yeah" style and hit a temporary wall- reread and had a Duh! moment.

EDIT: Didn't read the OP carefully either. Only replaced like for like dials.

I am almost certain that if ur shoes aren’t originally equipped with the two-way dials u CANNOT upgrade them as the base that is sewed on to ur shoe needs to b compatible with two-way dials. I ran in to this with Lake 402 shoes which have the same one way dials as ur 237s.....this is all explained on the BOA website
