Visited his old shop across the street from the bay back in '96. Nice guy, pretty bikes, but wasn't in the mood to talk that day. If I hadn't of fallen in lust with Merlin Ti, I probably would have bought one of John's bikes and requested a wild paint job.

Listening to John Slawta speak and looking at his shop, I sorta don't want to see how the sausage is made, but I still respect his work.
