Lil update:

Back to the HED Belgium/Campag Record hubs, 32 fr/rr (thank you again, Dan!). This is how this bike will live. I sold the WTOs. Not because they weren't the best wheels I've ever ridden. They were!....Sold because of my desire to try and keep things "simple". The HEDs are 90% (pure speculation) of the WTOs. They spin up fast enough and feel great. That extra racey stiffness/performance edge from the WTOs is so rad, but not strong enough to keep with my minimalist mind.

So I'm more than fine.

Now I maybe need to go back to stainless cagess (?). Always something to nitpick.

Suck it punk.

Trade me the stainless for carbons. You need them to match my WTOs (you still haven't finished paying for!) on the Della Santa.

Great bike. +2 on stainless cages.

Q: with approximately plenty of exposed seat post, your tail light is on your seat tube—why do you prefer that position?

It is nearly impossible to go wrong with silver spokes, stainless cages and tan tires.

22cm from where it enters the frame to the rails. I ride a saddle height of 835.

I saw someone mount their light there. I just thought it looked cool. The light still has full exposure to cars behind. It seems a bit more tucked away down there.

I’m riding over. Leave them outside. I’ll do the swap. Leave the cash too.

Never getting this set back. Blown away by them. Although, I’ve got a couple set of tubular wheels you could get back...

If/when I’m back on that side of the mountains I fully expect a revolving train of parts and wheels floating between our three garages..
