Elephant NFE - XL - 650b goodness..

Can be put to drop bars. Seller is asking $1650 plus shipping. Great wheels and a nice build overall.

As a fellow XL NFE owner, I can attest that this is a great bike. Somebody's going to be very happy with this, especially at that price.

Yes, that is a very nice price. One size too large for me, naturally.

$2000 Chris Kvale, Minneapolis: https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/h...110529772.html

"This is a custom frame made for a tall person that is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is extremely detailed and has to be seen to be appreciated. Currently his custom frames and forks are going for $3,400! This bike has Shimano Dura Ace components through out the whole bike. In addition I will include a additional set of wheels that have Campagnolo hubs and Mavic rims. This bike will fit someone 6 foot and 2 inches or taller. Willing to discuss offers..."

Seems like an ambitious price in today's market for rim-brake bikes, but there are only so many Kvale frames around and he's one of the best.

^^^^ It amazes me that someone can have such an obviously nice bike (he seems to realize Chris Kvale is at the top end of the custom steel framebuilding spectrum) and ask such a high price (though bases it apparently on what Chris would charge for a new custom frame today), but can't be bothered to post more than one non-drive-side picture or accurate frame dimensions.

65cm Centurion Ironman

Just a mid-level production bike, but it might be handy as a bike for your trainer. And it's got a Miami Vice color scheme. (There's a fair amount of love for these over on the bikeforums Classic & Vintage forum.)

62x59 Ron Stout frame in Denver, $160

https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/d/...112481158.html

"Up for sale is a 1992 Ron Stout 61cm road racing frame with a more modern threaded carbon fork and new velo orange grand cru sealed headset. This is a lugged frame with a cool mono-stay rear end

Ron Stout built custom frame out of Salt Lake City Utah in the USA from the 1970's and later. This frame was built in 1992 and was #468 of that year. Ron used all types of tubing but mainly Columbus from my research. Being that this frame is a 61cm it most likely is using Columbus SP tubing.

Check out the images and you will notice some paint chipping in the frame and on the fork. I tried to show images of the condition of the frame to the best of my ability. The main ugly issue is where the brake cable comes back out of the top tube near the seat tube. (check out image). It does not look that bad when the frame was built up.

Ron Stout Frame Specs frame # 46892 to the best of my ability
center of BB to top of seat tube 62cm
center of BB to center of top tube 61cm
center of head tube top center of seat tube 59cm
head tube 21cm
wheelbase 101 to 102cm
rear spacing 130mm
1.37" x 24tpi english bottom bracket
braze on front derailleur mount
uses 27.2mm seatpost

I was using 700x28 tires with the bike"

63cm Holland steel in San Diego

Seems like a bargain at $800, especially with JB paint.

That one's popped up on here before. The owner is a paceline member, albeit infrequent. I think he had said he was willing to ship.
