I pre-emptively post an apology these days.

For sure, at my advanced age I still get a giggle playing with it.

Tis the season

Must be the season. It is Lent in the liturgical Christian tradition, - a quiet time for reflection, traditionally, a time of repentance and the seeking of forgiveness. Good for the soul. Cleansing and renewal.

Support your local butcher. Don't buy your beef from the Internet.

Tangential: Beef was a great show, with cycling content.. has it been discussed?

I have a similar rule that pertains to one of my other interests:

I may start doing that. I seem to have a good butcher in a local micro grocery chain near my new abode, but don't yet know where they get their various meats. There are a few small cattle ranches in the area, but I don't know what they're fed, either. I need to find time to figure it all out, but all of the new house repairs and upgrades are sucking up all of my time.

There's nothing to be found at the local farmers market, but that may be a seasonal issue.

Thanks

Thanks for pointing this out. I always feel that I am communicating with mature, intelligent adults on this forum. Hard to find these characteristics in the present world in which we live. (Can someone check my grammar here, please!)

I’ve always (for perhaps a decade?) wondered if bicycletricycle is as imposing as his photo. I know he likes frames in 60+ sizes, so I would guess yes.

I have been told that I am intimidating at first, I think I am just direct, and also kinda big

Negative, but it’s been on the list of things to watch for a while now. Glad to hear there’s cycling content. Seems like there should be. It’s been cleaning up at all the awards shows.

I maintain there should be a “like” button feature on the forum. So many threads I want to nod along with, this being one of them, without having much to contribute myself.

Anyway, it's the internet, and we're talking about bikes, this should be fun. Ideally.
Yup, toys, after all. Bike Evangelists or bike 'moms' really bug me. Free life advice is worth what ya pay for it.

But I generally just grumble and scan on..this forum is FAR better than some...As I know anybody that goes to other forums know...
