I was just thinking about him today & what an asset he has been
He will be very valuable in the mountains of any grand tour |

As a bonus, he is a genuinely nice guy.

Without a doubt, he's MVP today.

Besides the fact that he’s absolutely on top form right now but he also has one of the coolest names in the peloton. I remember watching him tear up The Tour of Utah. Indeed a great talent. Very nice to see him performing so well. Let’s hope he remains injury free. (And everyone else for that matter)

Can't wait to watch him during the TDF. |

A huge win for Sepp today riding away from some of the best in the sport.
https://www.velonews.com/news/road/d...-wins-overall/ Don’t know if he has the power for a true GC rider but he can make a long and successful career of what he is doing now. Assuming Roglic heals well his role in the tour just got more pronounced. We should expect to see a lot of him at the sharp end of the race once it hits the Alps and Pyrenees. |

Jumbo Visma: stacked with talent. Kuss is being groomed to be a grand tour winner. After today, I’m starting to believe. The Spanish love him because he downed the whole beer on the podium at the Vuelta last summer instead of just taking a sip like most of the other stage winners.

I dont know what his Time Trialing is like, be he certainly has the climbing chops to be a legit GC contender.
He was on the front at the pointy end of things every day at the Dauphine. |

Jumbo Visma is peaking too soon for the TdF. Only Tom D looks to be on the right track.

Agreed. Kuss looked great out there.
Then there's Thibaut Pinot, who never seems to peak. He's a chronic underachiever of the GC contenders. |

What's the nationality of his name? Norwegian? German?
As a European-Canadian-American who also has an unusual name (for this side of the Atlantic), I'm cheering for him almost for that reason alone! Onno |

Pinot—always threatening to pull something out of the hat—but never quite doing it. Just like yesterday. I’m not convinced Jumbo is peaking too soon—a lot less racing at this point in the year on a team with a lot of young riders mixed in with the vets. I guess we’ll see in two weeks...
