Good 40+ish slick road tires?

I bought a 2018 Cannondale SuperX for my all-rounder and was hoping to find 40 - 43 mm tires with a slick tread and low rolling resistance. I ride about 80% road with the rest gravel and some trail. I figured something like the Maxxis Re-fuse would be great but was wondering what else was out there .

I'm running some Rene Herse Snoqualmie Pass EL 44s which measure about 40-41mm actual.

Love 'em.

Gravelkings get mentioned a lot, and they really are great. They don't feel like a lightweight 25mm road tire, but I doubt any big 700c tires do, and I am okay with the trade-off of more weight with getting better puncture resistance/tire life/cushion.

bikecloset.com had the Gravel Kings for $30ish in some models.

I ride the file tread on just about everything tubeless with no issues but they did just come out with a couple of different models in between the file and SK.
