Campagnolo Nuovo Record seatpost - early 70s - 27.0 $40 shipped

Hey there PL brethren.

For those of you with classic, 27.0 diameter seat-tubed velos, I have a classic, Campy Nuovo Record seatpost for sale.

Early, small lettering. Typical two-bolt design. A few light marks but very clean overall.

$40 shipped in the CUSA.

I'll update the ad with a few pictures shortly.

Thanks!

This might be really cool on Bridgestone frames.

Interestingly, that's what this was on - an RB-1 (not original to the bike of course...). I decided to go with a zero setback Thomson instead.

Tex what year RB-1? I've got a 93 56 that I've been thinking about posting only due to fit. Or more like compromised fit...

Hey Parris - my RB-1 is a 56 cm yellow and white 1993 (my favorite year!).

Hi VoyTirando,

The usable length (portion that can be inserted into the seat tube) of the seat post is 180 mm. From the bottom of the seat post to the seat rails is 210 mm.

I hope this helps.

Thanks!

Oooof just a hair....

...too short for me. I need about 24cm. Would’ve been so much more elegant than the old American Classic I have now. Thank you, though, for the reply, and GLWTS!
