Bronchitis
Had a diagnosis of bronchitis last week, explains the lackluster riding in May. No power or endurance to speak of, completly fade after less than five minutes at 35kph.
Doctor has me on antibiotics, and corticosteroid/salbutamol inhalers. Anyone here experienced it, how did you cope with it, and time to recover

I've had bronchitis problems dating back to my 80s running days. Now at 64 it seems to take longer to recover. I lost eight weeks in spring if 2016 and thirteen days last April. Rest and pay attention to what your body tells you. Rest.

I'm currently on prednisone, again this Spring/Summer. Antibiotics start tomorrow night if things don't improve in 24 hours
Since three Middle East deployments I seem to have picked up lung and sinus infections. Burn out exposure? VA says, no. Bronchitis can take several weeks to recover from. Don't force it, otherwise it can come back quickly. |

I had a bout of it two months ago. Almost depressing just how badly I was riding for a few days there before I figured out what was going on and got to the doc.

I’ve had bronchitis several times in my life, and pneumonia last year. Take your time and make sure you recover...the pneumonia took months before I felt like I was recovered.
