Removing stickers from Carbon wheels

What is the safe way to remove the decals from a carbon wheelset?
The "Dura Ace C24" decals" just look incongruous on my '86 DeRosa Pro.
Thanks.

If the stickers are under the clear you have to sand the clear off first.

If over the clear JUst peel the stuff up.

Thanks Mike V.
They are WH-7900 so three sets of decals each side of each wheel for a total of 12.

Use the low setting on a heat gun and don't speed too much time in one place. That way the adhesive will come off with the sticker. Don't get in a hurry or you'll spend three times as long removing the glue that would have come off with the sticker. Work small amounts and don't let the section you're pulling get too long or it can break. I use citrus goo gone for any residual glue and then clean that off with water asap.

I've done this on several sets of Campy carbon and aluminum wheels.

That changes my answer. In that case, I'd learn to live with them.

Thanks.
For under clearcoat decals, search ebay for someone that sells the decals, they can almost always print them in black.

For an enve fork, I had someone create the logo to scale and had vinyl reflective black printed, looks great.

Isn't a C24 a bit incongruous on an '86 De Rosa anyway?

And yes, as others have mentioned - the decals are under the clearcoat. I personally wouldn't mess with them. It would be quite an effort to remove all of the clearcoat from the rims (especially as assembled wheels) while potentially damaging the wheels, and definitely reducing their value/desirability in the process. However, I completely understand your desire as I have a set of C35s and would LOVE to remove the logos from those (they're not nearly as nice and understated as those on the C24s).

In the process of a comparo on my Merckx CE between Open Pro 32H/Chorus and Reynolds R4s.

Thus far I have to admit I think I like the Open Pros better.
