Question for the mods about Forum useability

What would it cost the forum to upgrade to a software that would allow drag and drop photo insertion?

The recent posts about riding in PHX led me to look at old pictures of what some of the easily accessible routes are, and it sure would be nice to drag a picture in, have the forum software resize it, and make a comment on where it is.

For example, I have to resize this picture on my desktop with add-on software, click on attachments, browse to the location on my computer, upload and attach.

I would gladly donate to this forum to upgrade the software, and I know there are other loyal members chip in.

Is this possible?

great question, and i think Keith is the only one who would know the answer on the mod team.

perhaps some other member familiar with vBulletin platform knows something about this?

that certainly sounds appealing!

Bikeforums.net (Internet Brands) has it. As much as I dislike their model, I would look into that software, if affordable.

I want to be in Arizona.

Good thought on the software... have to say I don't even know if such functionality is available.

If the OP spent less time riding and more time on the forum he wouldn't have this problem.

Unfortunately the OP has not ridden much and has too much time on his hands. The OP did do an easy 5 miles today and may actually kit up tomorrow and ride for real. The OP will not be doing the Castle Climb, but may ride the flat golf course.

I think even more important than drag and drop is photo resizing.

Thanks for suggesting five more steps in addition to the five streps we all go through already.
