Much prefer her actual singing. I like metal/ hard rock but can't stand that growling or what ever it's called. Just don't get the allure but that's just me.

My daughter and I were perusing stacks of vinyl a couple of days ago at a record store in Ithaca while this was playing over the sound system...rough and gritty it caught my attention. The staff had just discovered it a few days before and then found out that one of the band members actually lives in Ithaca. I was interested enough that I bought their only disc. Now I have a few riffs running through my head. Not for everyone I'm sure but interesting sound to me.

The Eagles Hell Freezes Over concert from 2008 has been in rotation on late-night TV recently, and I've watched it two or three times. I'm not a fan of their music, but I admire their craft and execution. So now "The Last Resort" is stuck in my head, a tune I don't think I'd ever heard before.
