Been really busy working on this shop addition. After painting on and off for the last few years I have finally decided to build a dedicated paint booth. The shop addition is 23x10 while the paint booth is an 8x6 room. The walls are fire rated, the room fully ventilated, and I even has supplied air coming in so I can't smell a thing when I'm painting. Looking forward to diving deeper into this craft and beginning the hoarding of more tools of the trade.

Nice setup. And nice lugwork on the previous posts. What is the headtube badge that you've got?

Thanks, the customer wanted something that resembled his dog. I sketched a few things out and that's the one he chose.

Going to start building this one up. A light weigh randonneur frame with classic diameter tubes, stainless head lugs and clearance for 45mm fenders and 700x32 tires.

Please ignore the construction mess in the background.

Yeah, that blue one actually became the black one further down the page. After painting it the customer decided they didn't like the color so he had me repaint it the black. Too bad in my opinion, I really liked the sky blue.

Thanks. As far as the tubes, I have an original columbus Max tubeset and MS Gilco tubeset both with matching lug sets that will await someones interest. The rifled gilco I think I will save for myself, we shall see.

Working on a stainless rear end

Spent some time setting up an air system for my new compressor, 27ft of copper pipes, 4 drain legs, two water/oil traps and a desiccant filter should help keep my air clean and dry. Here's an old silca pump being renewed for a Legnano.

Checking the rear wheel alignment on four sides, you probably wouldn't know the difference if it wasn't as perfectly centered as this, but it does help with some OCD tendencies of mine.

Polishing is hard work. Finally at a point with the rear triangle that I'm happy with, took a few days worth of work. Now I'm moving onto the head lugs and a few small bits.
