No relation, etc

60cm Merckx MX Leader $1200

If you are looking then you likely know what this is... THE bike of the pro sprinters when they last rode steel frames. Excellent condition. I just don't ride it anymore and maybe its time to pass it on.
Columbus Max steel frame and fork 60 ST, 58 TT including...
Extra fork sprayed to match.
Chris King threaded headset.
Cinelli XA 120mm stem.
3 different 26.0 handlebars including Cinelli Giro bars to match stem.
2 Italian threaded bottom brackets - Octalink 105 cartridge and Octalink Dura-Ace
Thompson setback seatpost.

For additional $$$ I can make a deal with all Dura-Ace 7700 9-speed components including wheels with the exception of STI shifters/brake levers. Or I can make a deal with a complete Campy Athena 11-speed group with wheels.

Thanks for looking. No tire kickers please.

If you are looking for a big classic mountain bike, this has to be at the top of your list.

XXL Look 585 with DA 7900 for $899 OBO.

I kid you not. Sucks for those of us with equity in 585s () but a great opportunity for someone else

This one is a 555, so your 585 investments are safe

I think because there is a "make offer" option it is worth a try. The bike looks to be in mint condition and the Superbe Pro is IMNSHO hands down the best 7-speed group ever created, period.

If I didn't already have a Bianchi SLX and a CSI I'd take a stab at it.

I really like the bike too. I'd say the price is a tad high, but if it's truly mint then maybe not. Shame he doesn't have very good pics of the frame, they are more of the parts. Blows my mind people take pics of handlebars, tires and such.

It's about 20 minutes away from me. If it's still around on Saturday I might ride over and take a look.
