Quirky builds for sale, where price is still pretty high, always kill me.
That thing is 1x. I would need to buy a new shifter set(or scrounge for a old version front shifter) and also buy a new front derailleur as well as either new crank or new chaining. Oh, and a new chain.

So $200-500 later, the bike is no longer a quirky 1x.

Yes, it could go to one of the few people who want 1x on a road bike and also want Tiagra shifting as well as a mismatched left brake lever. I don't think those odds are great.
