Thanks, OP. The spokes certainly feel tight enough when I give them a squeeze.

"Bright" is exactly the word to describe what these are not. You attribute it to spoke material, although I find the Zondas I have with steel spokes to be 'brighter.'

And of course, some handbuilts I have also feel pretty good. Have been enjoying some Easton R90SL rims lately.
