Where in VA are you moving to? And gosh, so strange to think that Front Royal once hosted a bicycle race. Well, there are obvious reasons why it would, and also lots of reasons why, at least these days, it wouldn't...unless I was the one who organized it.

Earlysville VA
just a bit north and west of charlottesville.

It was a pretty long road race IIRC correctly. 60 miles or so. Not a sanctioned USCF race but finished in what was like a town square with a bunch of other festivities going on. Fun times

DUDE! I have an Earlysville mailing address, technically I'm in Free Union. I ride quite a bit daytimes and am always looking for folks that can go then.
Earlysville hosts Tuesday Night Worlds, a race sim group ride-Ben King used to show up... its quite the deal. Not my thing these days but you might dig it.

I’m retired so I have all the time in the world during the day so let’s definitely hookup.
I’m off of markwood rd.
I lived there from 93-03 and races/rode a ton while
I was there. Still know a handful of folks.
I may hit up the Tuesday ride after I get my legs under me. These last few months of pushing work have derailed my riding plans but should get on track in May
I will be up a week in May for a quick trip yo drop some bikes off at the house but will be there full time mid June after my daughter graduates

Definitely don't plan around me! Would love to meet up for a weekday and possibly weekend ride with everyone. I'm ~ 3hr drive away without rush hour traffic.
