I always liked Pizzacato and went there for lunch downtown for like 17 years. A few locations have closed recently.. my beef with them was that their pies were really small and expensive by East Coast standards. Their large was a medium back home.. but the quality was there. Portlanders didn't seem to really understand pizza when I moved here in 1999. I only went to AD once and it was fun but not my fav. I suspect they have loyal neighborhood fans though. The pizza renaissance that is sweeping the nation is a good thing and is bringing so many great slices ! Life is too short to eat terrible pizza.
