I think the kickrs with a problem with the keyway were 2017 or 2018.
Plenty of videos about kickr problems if it happens to one you own.

Servicing a kickr freewheel is very simple, it starts at about 3:30 in this video. Or watch it all if the kickr has seen a lot of use. My belt was loose enough to make popping sounds occasionally tightening it is quite easy.

A new belt is pretty cheap from Amazon, it's a Gates part. 3x as much from Wahoo

I actually found out about the gates belt when I was looking something up. Looks like they changed from a regular timing belt to the 'V' belt in later generations for less slippage.
