Anyone here owns this brand? Im having issues with my Rear hydraulic Brake hose being kinked on the frame head tube guide opening..brake still works but a bit worried that it might snap..

I have an OPEN and not having that problem, brake cable flows in nicely. Do you know how that happened?

Pic of the rest of hose routing? (up by bars) Seems like the only way that could really happen is if the cable is too long, maybe? Or if the bars turned left and the cable didn't have room to move freely, causing the kink?

I have the exact same bike and have not had this issue. I’ve owned the bike more than 2 years. Which hoses are those?

I also do not have that problem on my Open.
Shrink wrap is your friend with DI2 Wires. Redo the brake hose and at the same time re-route your DI2 wire to follow the brake hose under the shrink wrap. Cleans it up nicely and it all moves together. Last edited by John H.; 07-23-2019 at 11:04 AM. |

I actually think that zipptie probably is doing that. It is preventing the cable from moving free so when you turn the bars instead of the cable moving in and out of the hole its just bending.
I bet those cables are pretty strong so I am not sure it is going to just snap on you (also at least its the rear brake) but I would probably just get the cable replaced and system re-bled. |

I would also get rid of the zip tie and use the shrink wrap method.
