I had Campy R12 on my Battaglin, but was frustrated by the incompatibility with my other bikes and not being able to use in on the smart-trainer, so when I moved stuff over to the Allied, I went back to R11, which I pulled off the Kirk. I had Potenza 11 on the Kirk briefly, I just didn't like the lever feel with the TRP brakes......so when Morgul put up his 9100 group, I figured I'd give it a try and get a sub-compact up front to go with it since I'm not racing this one or chasing downhill Strava segments..

tl;dr - I have a hard time sitting still.

I thought if you converted your USD to EUR you'd have more buying power?

Subcompact, ENVE post/bar, Mandibles, and a new chain..

It's all humming nicely together.

Planning a tubeless setup shortly, and wrapping some Silca tape - then it's done.

Very nice! Gold chain is a nice touch.

You may have mentioned this above and I missed it but why the Praxis and not the matching DA 9100 crankset?

Was curious how I'd like the smaller big-ring for general cruising.....and I do, but I may go back to the DA at some point...

No, got one on my MTB, but not road right now. Kind of just training indoors to power and chilling on the streets.
