It's here, and it's beautiful..

I somehow forgot it was a 1-in headset though - I bought two CK 1.125-in thinking I'd decide between pewter and black, or maybe get a WI instead - now I need to find a black CK SV or CC 110 for it.

I'm going to take this one slow and savor the build process.

It's great to finally have it in hand though. And the prep work is outstanding, as would be expected.

Dang.. so awesome. Will be a totally classy looking bike. I love it so... incognito of its underlying awesomeness.

So jealous that your bike has actually arrived.

You ordered your bike within days of me and my delivery date is TBD??? due to paint.

Love the colour, can't wait to see it built up.

Yep. The depth of color is striking, and I haven't even seen it in the sun yet.

Thank you. I hope my build does it justice.

Hang in there, the wait will be worth it - plus, aren't there like four feet (1.125 meters) of snow in Toronto already?

Yes, but pruposefully so - the 1" steerer means a more compliant front end - and that's exactly what I wanted...

You missed a decimal place, first snowfall last night 2-3 inches where I live and 4-6 where I ride.

Had hoped to have it before the winter, it will look good in my living room as a piece of art.

Good god. The brazing. The paint. The cranks. The tire clearance. Can’t wait to see the rest!
