Since I can’t do my winter spin classes at the “Y”, I figured I’d do a trainer in the basement. This will be the basis for my dedicated trainer bike.

Owned this very colour scheme 20 years ago and then traded it for a black flite - duuh. Have been looking ever since. Finally I got lucky yesterday night on ebay.co.uk.

Which will go nicely along with this Selle San Marco leather bar tape I scored almost exactly one year ago...You have to be in on the long game if you like green leather it seems.

These tires are very nice, I spent 2 hours on the track tonight and they do not disappoint.

I don't have that one, but I DO have the Italian flag version

Put it on my new-to-me Girodana

Project bike. After seeing Charles M's Guerciotti restoration I started searching for something to work on. This one popped in a short time, my size and color preference.

Loved my 979, 1986-89 or so, mine was boring black though. Did have that colored logo decal on the TT, by the HT. Had hand me down Mavic components until '87 when those were replaced with a 1st year Campy Athena gruppo. GLW the restoration, let us see how it pans out. And agree, those lugs on the Guerciotti were amazing-immediately thought back to my Vitus upon seeing that thread (and wondering why I never tried anything like that?).

This is you own rack of bikes right? Not a shop?

I feel so much less insane now.
