I second The Keep, and Manhunter. Michael Mann is a genius.

Willaim - try Best Buy

We also own Gran Prix with James Garner.

Spin - a lot of folks have never seen Glory but if you want to get picky, how about The Last Starfighter? Kind of campy but a fun sci-fi flick that's about to get re-made.

Then there is always Soylent Green (no spoilers, PLEASE).

Movies that struck me most people do not know about were That Man from Rio with Jean Paul Belmondo and Franscois Dorleac and Grand Prix. I thought that both were great.

Local Hero +1

Duel +1

Fearless Vampire Killers - Full title is the Fearless Vampire Killers or Pardon Me But Your Teeth Are in my Neck

Don't Look Now - Scariest movie of all time. Also has the hottest sex scene (Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland) of all time

Twelve Chairs - Very early Mel Brooks

Breaker Morant/Gallipoli - impossible to watch without crying at the end

I'll give BB a whirl.

I forgot about The Last Starfighter. That's a good one.

I don't think I've seen Gran Prix. Though in Dust to Glory they show some clips of James Garner racing (as well as Steve McQueen).

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Richard Dreyfuss, Gary Oldman, and Tim Roth
The story of what the messengers in Hamlet were doing while the rest of the play was going on.

Rosencrantz: I don't believe in it anyway.
Guildenstern: What?
Rosencrantz: England.
Guildenstern: Just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?

I've really agreed with a lot of movies that have been posted and now I've got some great ideas for movies to rent.

I've seen this horrible movie several times and loved it....Mystery Science Theater 3000 did wonders for it.

Also try Amazon.com. I bought both Grand Prix and Le Mans there for less than $10 each.
