Chain whip for Campagnolo 12

Hey everyone,

I seem to have lost my Cyclus 9/10 speed chain whip, and need a new one. I found the Cyclus tool did not work will with my Campagnolo 12 speed cassette. Anyone got a recommendation for a chain whip that will work nicely on both Campagnolo 9 and 12 speed? Thanks!

Any chain whip will work as long as it's 3/32 chain pitch. Just put it on the largest cog and then there's no issue with a thicker chain on a thinner cog spacing.

I use a Pedro's alternative to a chain whip, which has a long lever and grips the smallest cog on the cassette. I think this tool is discontinued but I found this similar product from Steintool.

The clear disadvantage of this tool is that it is less flexible since it only works with cassettes whose smallest cog is 11 or 12 (or 10 if you buy the other model shown on that page). This isn't an issue for me, at least currently.
