Good news is all the folks that must have the newest marketing 'crap' on their bikes sell their old 'good' equipment cheap. For that I am thankful!

I was pretty happy with 'cassettes' and 8s...I don't see that 9/10/11/12 brings anything 'better' to the table. In fact, and this is old news too..nothing really new since lever mounted, indexing shifters, cassettes, clipless pedals...that was 'all the rage' about 35 years ago....

I'm holding out hope we will see a refresh of the mid/low end and maybe bring back athena or potenza with an alloy version of the 48/32 chainring option.

You kids. Spin on 5 speed's were the last good gearing setup. I would happily get off my bike and flip the wheel if I could find parts for it.

Agreed. Sufficient gears and not nearly as finicky. Further tuning and building a true clutch to eliminate chain slap would be really nice, too.

True. I am thankful to Campagnolo for continuing to make small parts and service items for these group sets and for all of the other riders who recognize the brilliance of them and keep them in service.

Me too & 9 or 10 was already a lot.
Also agree about indexed shifting & I waited till Sean Kelly changed to clipless before I bought some looks...hahah he was one of the last to switch

I dunno, I love the new tech and I’m looking forward to SR13 and EPS.

I still have Record 10 on the CX bike. It’s great, but my SR11 is a much more developed group than R10.

If I want low tech I just ride my Super Competition with Simplex.

Oh, and after 40 years on Campy, Mavic, or Suprebe Pro I have new bike with DA12 on the way. I can hardly wait!

13 speed road

2 X, let's go

I run campy 10 shifters and rear mechs with nine speed Shimano cogs

grinding up the old stock 9 cassettes and chains (and wheels)

12-25 and 13-25 nine speed have lots of gears that work for me

the 11 and the 34 on the new cogsets are sort of extremes

Agree but once again too many groupsets in the Campagnolo line up.

Way back when...Athena, Chorus, Croce D'Aune and Record.

Now...Centaur, Chorus, Record and Super Record.

I think three is enough plus Ekar.
