Colnago Master Questions

When did Colnago introduce Master frames with Gilco tubing? When did they switch from curved to straight forks? Did Colnago place serial numbers on the older frames?

precisa forks came in 89 timeframe...at some point early in the evolution of the master-piu, colnago went from curved to straight forks. i think the gilco tubing arrived with the master, so a few years before this -- i think the the master was introduced in 86.

Thanks for the post. That sounds about right to me. I recall seeing one about then. The frame I bought has the pretty indifferent early decals. When I get a bit of time I'll try to get some photos.
