OT: RIP Dean Stockwell
I always enjoyed watching him, whether in movies or television. He was an excellent child actor who managed to make the transition to adult roles, if not as a big star, at least as an always dependable character actor.
One of my favorite performances of his is in Compulsion, based on the Leopold and Loeb murder trial. https://variety.com/2021/film/actors...or-1235107891/

That's a shame.
One performance of his that I especially enjoyed was in "Married to the Mob." An outstanding cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Joan Cusack, Matthew Modine, and Oliver Platt … all completely outshone by Mercedes Ruehl. |

What's amazing is that Blue Velvet was great movie on so many levels with all kinds of great performances but his is the one that everyone remembers. Everything about it was perfect and not just the directing, lighting, script and so on but that in the actual real world it took place in the 80's. The timing and everything both in the real world and in fiction came together at that moment to make something that anyone who sees that movie cannot forget.

Friend and collaborator with Neil Young back in the canyon days. Someday I'm going to see Human Highway.
