31.8mm to 23.8mm shims

These seem to be included with CX interrupter levers, but I can't find them by themselves. It seems more bars than not taper abruptly from the stem clamp area to the normal diameter of 23.8mm which makes fitment of clip ons troublesome.

Anyone know where to find these shims?

If you are using clip on aero bars, won't it place them too wide if clamping to the 24mm section of the bars? It might be easier to look for a different set of bars that are clipon compatible.

The 26.0 or 31.8 bulge is barely any wider than the stem clamp on most of my bars.

Changing bars isn't really an option as I prefer the Maes parallel shape. I've tried lots of modern bars and I can't jibe with them. It's not a deal breaker so I could just do without, but thought it would be nice to have the option to stretch out and change positions on long rides. Being aero really isn't the main objective so if my forearms were a little further apart than ideal I'm not sure it would matter much.

ran into this issue today re: Garmin Edge mount on Alabastache

Nitto Albastache bars are 26.0 only in the immediate clamp area. From there the entire rest of the bar is 23.8 OD. Garmin Edge out front mount comes with two shims but neither are correct for installing the mount on the 23.8 section. Maybe the big shim with longer set screw?
