Hanging bike storage ideas

So I finally have a nice sized garage that might be able to fit bikes and my car. Looking for ways to hang the bikes up from the ceiling if possible. There is a lot of cabinetry, so I can’t really do any of the wall mount options, and don’t want to anyways. I was thinking of maybe mounting some kind of horizontal PVC bar from the ceiling and just hooking saddles over it. What have you guys done?

Tia,
Ari

Just get a stud finder and mount a rubber covered hook on every stud in the ceiling and about 2 feet from the wall.

I love the Rubbermaid FastTrack system. My bike room is great now. I like that it has hooks for helmets, pumps, etc. Super easy to install. And I thought the price was totally fair!

Re: bikes hanging

My garage has an open rafter structure instead of ceiling. The cross ties were too low to hang bikes on (wheel hooks) and be able to park a car under them. My solution was to add-in new cross ties higher up and mount the bikes to those.

Much cheaper option here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt...4181/316697415

Just need to wrap it in something soft and/or put a piece of pool noodle on it.

I used some rafter hooks when my storage spot for about 35 vintage bikes was no longer available. A bit of a mess, but they worked!

I like these because they have wheels to move around.
